VMWare使用硬盘分区安全安装ubuntu 804的方法
看了很多google出来的文档说的方法都说要用entire disk，这样很危险，纠正一下，安全的方式，以ubuntu 8.04为例，在创建虚拟机的时候，选择使用物理硬盘，不要选择“entire Disk”，除非你确实需要共享整个硬盘，然后选择你要分配给guest OS的分区，下面不要使用vmware 6 workstation自动识别出 ubuntu 804的安装选项，而是自己从头安装ubuntu，在创建分区的时候，选择这个物理分区作为/，例如sda3（我为了简单根本就没给guest os配置swap分区，给了它 1G ram)，然后不要修改grub的安装位置。好了，这样子就对了，对原来的host OS来说，硬盘是安全的，vm ware会阻止对其他分区的任何操作。对guest os来说，直接使用物理硬盘，对性能有非常大的好处。如果你希望有swap分区，再给它建一个分区附加给虚拟机也可。
